Camping With Parkinson’s: A One-Week Series

camper driving through mountains

The windows are open, the air is warm (or hot), and camping season is here! While camping and traveling are exciting summer adventures, we understand that camping with Parkinson's may seem daunting or even impossible. For advice, we turned to two of our Davis Phinney Foundation Ambassadors and RV camping experts, Carol Clupny and Marty Acevedo. In this one-week mini-series, Carol and Marty will share their tips on Parkinson's and camping as it relates to nutrition, travel, planning, cognition, and more, hopefully inspiring you to get out there and enjoy the sunshine.

In this introductory episode, Carol and Marty share with us how they got started with the RV life, why they prefer to travel via the open road, some favorite places they've been, and what's next.
