Take Action to Live Well
We are pleased to share a recent article spotlighting our newest board member, Evan Siddall, and his work with the Growling Beaver Brevet in Collingwood, Ontario.
Diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2014, Evan co-founded the Growling Beaver Brevet cycling event, which debuted in 2015. This charity ride benefits both ParkinGo Wellness Society and the Davis Phinney Foundation. It also connects our northern neighbors to our free resources and educational tools that help people live well with Parkinson's.
Through this event that we do and these great friends that are involved in the charity with me, I get to see how cared for I am, and we should all have that light shining into our existence. Most people don’t realize it because we take it for granted, and I’m lucky enough to see it. - Evan Siddall
