To make the new edition of our Every Victory Counts manual even more accessible, we are now offering it in audio format. Each Tuesday for the next few months, we will release another chapter of the sixth edition. Be sure to tune in weekly! To make sure you don’t miss an episode, subscribe to The Parkinson’s Podcast on Apple Podcasts or Stitcher.
This week, we invite you to listen to the manual’s foreword, written by world renowned Parkinson’s expert Professor Bas Bloem, MD, PhD, along with the Introduction, which includes a roadmap to living well with Parkinson’s, a letter from Davis Phinney, and much more.
Now, more than ever, it is time for people with Parkinson’s to have hope. Hope for how you can live well today and in the future. While this is officially the foreword to the manual, we could have just as easily called it a forward because that is really what all people with Parkinson’s and their families want: to move forward, and preferably at warp speed. One of the essential ingredients of your ability to move forward is to be more knowledgeable about Parkinson’s itself as a complex neurological condition and about its many different treatments. Knowledge is power, and I am convinced that this new edition of the Every Victory Counts manual will give you that invaluable power.
