We are pleased to welcome three new members to our Board of Directors. Our new members bring unique experience, perspective and expertise so we can continue to develop our programs and educational resources to help people with Parkinson’s live well.
Who Are Our New Board Members?
Helen Bronte-Stewart, MD, MSE is the John E. Cahill Family Professor in the Department of Neurology and Neurological Sciences and in the department of Neurosurgery (by courtesy) at the Stanford University School of Medicine, Stanford, California. She is the Director of the Stanford Comprehensive Movement Disorders Centre.
David Leventhal is a founding teacher and Program Director for Dance for PD®, a program of the Mark Morris Dance Group that has now been used as a model for classes in more than 100 communities in 16 countries. He leads classes for people with Parkinson’s disease around the world and trains other teachers in the Dance for PD® approach.
Evan Siddall is President and CEO of Canada Mortgage & Housing Corp, Canada’s housing agency. CMHC is a Cdn $250 billion government-owned company spanning mortgage insurance, securitization, assisted housing and market analysis and research. Prior to entering public service with a senior posting at the Bank of Canada, Evan had a 20-year career in general management and investment banking with Lazard, Goldman Sachs and BMO Nesbitt Burns.
