Jaime Robledo View in Spanish

Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia

I was diagnosed in 2007 at 39 years. I am part of the Davis Phinney Foundation’s Ambassadors leader committee for Hispano-America. I participate in the therapies at Fundación Parkinson de Colombia and am currently part of the Tango Dancing Therapy program at Fundación Valle de Lili. I am a Qi Gong certified Ta Yu Fa Men Chuan teacher, and I am teaching people with Parkinson’s and their care partners healthy routines. In addition, I am developing my skills as a writer, I am a mechanical engineer, and I earned my MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.

I believe that we are always stronger together and that it is possible to not just live well with Parkinson’s but thrive with it. So, I am excited to be an Ambassador for the Foundation and spread that message to as many people as possible.

When I am not working to manage my symptoms, you’ll find me trying new alternative therapies, sharing my experiences with others, practicing or teaching Qi Gong, dancing the Tango, helping with different entrepreneurial projects, and cooking.
