I am a physical therapist working with people with orthopedic conditions and neurological conditions, including Parkinson’s. While I was in school, I had the opportunity to volunteer for an organization called Empower Parkinson. This organization worked to fight back against Parkinson’s through holistic wellness and prevention programs. I learned the importance of establishing a community that will help uplift one another and discover the potential that living well with Parkinson’s brings. This experience sparked my passion for helping those with Parkinson’s.
Most people with Parkinson’s that I treat don’t receive enough education on the importance of exercise, nutrition, and other lifestyle management factors when diagnosed. This fact has left me increasingly eager to get involved in my community and help those affected by Parkinson’s. That’s why I decided to become an Ambassador. With the right knowledge and support, I believe people can have a brighter and more positive outlook about their Parkinson’s.
When I’m not working with my clients, you’ll find me drinking strong coffee, exploring the outdoors, and sharing a good meal with family and friends.
