Stan Livingston

Madison, Wisconsin

I am 69 years old and was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2015. It has been a challenging journey. As the disease slowly worsens, I find new ways to cope. I facilitate two Parkinson’s support groups. I like helping others, and I receive a lot from doing so. The members of our group teach and support me, and I find strength in learning as much as possible about how Parkinson’s works.

I am excited to be part of this community of Ambassadors, to expand my Parkinson’s community, to find new ways to help people, and to help others adopt and maintain the kind of positive attitude it takes to thrive with Parkinson’s.

When I’m not working in the Parkinson’s community, you’ll find me spending time with family and friends, enjoying nature, walking, riding, or reading.
