Stacey Macaluso

Cherry Hill, New Jersey

Stacey’s work with the Parkinson’s community began in 2012 as a Dance for PD teacher. As she continued teaching, Stacey became more active as an advocate for people with Parkinson’s and their care partners, dedicating her energy toward being an exercise specialist for those living with Parkinson’s in South Jersey. SJ Magazine recognized Stacey as a “Game Changer” in South Jersey for her work in the Parkinson’s community with the Women of Excellence Award for 2020.

Today, Stacey manages the Parkinson’s Connection at the Kate JCC, where she coordinates classes for people with Parkinson’s and care partners to improve their quality of life. Living well with Parkinson’s for Stacey means keeping hope alive. It means spreading awareness, hope, and joy to improve one’s quality of life.

Stacey’s family of five continues to be her source of strength, pride, and joy. On a perfect Sunday, you can find Stacey relaxing at home, cooking a delicious pot of soup, and spending quality time with her husband of 30 years.
