I was diagnosed with young-onset Parkinson’s (YOPD) in December of 2021 at age 45. As a bookworm, I immediately dug in and have been learning everything I can about Parkinson’s since that day. Now, I’m excited to be able to share what I’ve learned with others.
Living well means living every day to the fullest. I take care of my mind, body, spirit, career, relationships, and my communities. I also love to teach and inspire people. I am optimistic, gritty, bilingual (Russian), and I love helping others as a nurse and member of the Parkinson’s community.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me doing HIIT! Classes, reading, writing letters, hiking with my boyfriend and his dog, or hanging out with my teenage son.
