Susana Carlos, MPH

Program Associate: Healthy Parkinson's Communities™ Network

With a diverse educational background and an unwavering commitment to public health, Susana is a dedicated advocate for community well-being and health equity. Armed with an MPH from the University of Minnesota, and an in-progress Doctorate of Public Health (DrPH) with a focus on diverse populations and health equity, Susana combines knowledge, experience, and a deep passion for making a positive impact.

Constantly amazed and inspired by the incredible achievements of those in the Parkinson’s community, Susana embraces the opportunity to blend her expertise in public health with the wisdom gained from those she encounters as part of our Healthy Parkinson’s Communities program. This mutual learning experience serves as a driving force, propelling Susana to continually seek innovative solutions and foster meaningful connections.

Outside the realm of public health, Susana finds creative expression through art. This appreciation for artistry and the power of visual storytelling adds a unique dimension to her multifaceted approach to making a difference. When not immersed in her professional pursuits, you’ll find Susana cuddling her dog, Doja, and going hard on her Nintendo Switch
