Bilingual Program Associate - Ambassador Program

Nadia joined the Davis Phinney Foundation as the Bilingual Program Associate for the Ambassador Leadership Program. Her professional background is in program management, including research grant management, major projects and grant management, clinical affairs, and education programs. Nadia is passionate about empowering communities through education. She has worked with disease-specific communities for over 17 years, focusing on global education and outreach efforts to promote cultural awareness, education programs, and resources for Parkinson’s and epilepsy, as well as their underserved communities. From 2006-19, Nadia worked with the Parkinson’s community at the Parkinson’s Foundation. She led efforts for community grants programming by providing funding for specific communities with unmet needs. She also served as the grant manager for research initiatives and played a key role in the centers of excellence program, center leadership conference, and chapter programs. She also served as the grant manager for research initiatives and played a key role in the Research and Professional Programs working with the Centers of Excellence Program (COE), Center Leadership Conference (CLC), Parkinson’s Outcomes Project (POP), Care Centers as wells as the Chapter programs.

Nadia holds a bachelor’s degree in health services administration from Florida International University. In addition to her professional pursuits, she has a passion for traveling and exploring beautiful places. She enjoys watching sports and cherishes spending time with family and friends.
