Leslie Cloud, MD, MSc

Dr. Cloud medical school at the Medical College of Georgia, followed by internship, neurology residency, movement disorders fellowship, and master’s degree in clinical research at Emory University. She joined the faculty at The Parkinson’s & Movement Disorders Center at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2011, and has served as Parkinson’s Disease Program Director since 2013. Clinically, her focus is on the comprehensive clinical care of patients with Parkinson’s Disease. On the research side, her expertise in the gastrointestinal aspects of PD and the use of wearables to analyze and treat freezing of gait and other motor symptoms in PD. She has received funding from the Michael J Fox Foundation and the National Institutes of Health for her investigator-initiated research, and she has been the site investigator on many industry trials.
