Kayla Ferguson
Pedaling for Parkinson's Program Manager
Kayla joined the Foundation in October 2018 as a program manager, following a journey around the world that included traversing 29 countries between Japan and Peru. From 2020-2023, she lead our research and community grants program as part of the Foundation’s Community Engagement team, and she has since transitioned to overseeing Pedaling for Parkinson’s. The most inspiring aspect for Kayla in her work is connecting one-on-one with people at events, listening to their stories about Parkinson’s and life, and forming lifelong friendships. Her role in this community that supports and uplifts one another brings her profound joy and meaning, and her exuberance motivates those around her to take on life with positivity. Kayla’s enthusiasm and ready-to-jump-in spirit is evident in all she does.
When not working, you’ll find Kayla scuba diving, traveling to faraway lands, hosting dinner parties, and playing with her cats.
