Jenna Deidel
Director of Programs & Community Impact
Jenna’s career has been driven by her love of creativity, the power of community, and making a lasting positive impact. After establishing herself in Chicago as a professional dancer and working with many art organizations, she felt a calling to move back to her hometown in Colorado. Searching for job opportunities, she was moved by the Davis Phinney Foundation’s approach to supporting those living with Parkinson’s. Taking a leap from pursuing an artistic career to entering the health field was significant, but Jenna embraced it enthusiastically.
In her role at the Davis Phinney Foundation, Jenna has taken the lead on various projects such as launching their Health Disparities and Parkinson’s webinar series, establishing a board dedicated to Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access (IDEA), and creating the Healthy Parkinson’s Communities™ initiative which seeks to create supportive environments in communities for those living with Parkinson’s.
When Jenna isn’t engrossed in her job or the Parkinson’s community, she finds peace gardening, doing hot yoga, cooking, and spending time with her husband and beloved dog, Maybelle.
