Darcy Taylor
Darcy Taylor is the Chief Executive Officer of Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County. He has over 30 years of executive leadership, fundraising, strategic planning, senior nonprofit leadership, and development experience for health and human service organizations.
His diverse career started worked at Raytheon Corporation in Goleta while he pastored at South Coast Fellowship in Ventura. From there, Darcy has served as Vice President of Constituent Relations for the National Parkinson Foundation in Miami, Florida; Director of Constituent Relations for the National Alliance of Mental Illness in Washington, DC; and Senior Vice President of Development of the Model Cities Program for the National Coalition for the Protection of Children and Families. Most recently, Darcy was the Chief Development Officer for the David Lawrence Center in Naples, Florida.
Darcy earned his ministry and leadership degree from Life Bible College and a BA in History from University of Santa Barbara and is a Certificated Fundraising Executive. He is a board member of the Collier-Lee Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and a graduate of the Leadership Collier Class.
Since Darcy joined Habitat in July 2018, he has focused on increasing the organization’s rate of home building and repair throughout the County. He has also expanded Habitat’s local and statewide advocacy in homelessness, farmworker housing, and affordable housing.
