Jackie joined the Davis Phinney Foundation in January 2021. Prior to joining the Foundation, she spent many years as a music educator while earning her master’s degree in music therapy. During this clinical work, Jackie had the opportunity to work with many persons with Parkinson’s and it was this extraordinary community of people, along with her passion for advocacy, love of projects and drive for excellence that led her to working at the Foundation.
In her spare time Jackie can be found eating pizza, hiking with her dog Bingley, tickling the ivories, or finding a new favorite coffee shop. She loves the smell of sulfur but hates the smell of gum, and her favorite quote that she tries to live by every day is to “Do the best you can until you know better. Once you know better, do better.” – Maya Angelou
