When the Davis Phinney Foundation was founded in 2004, Davis Phinney wanted to focus on providing resources and programs that would help people with Parkinson's live well every day.  While a cure for Parkinson’s was and is the dream, he also knew that improving quality of life until that happened was essential.

One of the resources designed to do that was the Every Victory Counts® manual. First published in 2010, the manual is now in its sixth edition and has been distributed to over 60,000 people affected by Parkinson's, movement disorder specialists, nurses, allied health professionals, and more.

In 2021, we also published the first edition of our Every Victory Counts Manual for Care Partners. Throughout this manual, those who love and care for people living with Parkinson's can dive into some of the most frequently asked questions we receive from care partners, with responses from our team, Parkinson’s experts, and fellow care partners. The manual is designed to be accessible to all care partners, whether they’re caring for someone young, newly diagnosed, or in the advanced stages of Parkinson’s.
