I know people diagnosed with Parkinson’s, and I work in the community educating about different health issues, prevention, and available resources that we can access.
The need to educate and provide the necessary resources so that people can have the confidence to ask for help and know that there are resources available led me to want to be part of this initiative.
Even if someone has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s, they have many possibilities to have a dignified and as normal a life as possible.
To be able to serve and guide the community, to let them know that they can receive information and education in their language. That they have confidence that someone can answer their questions and connect them with the services they need.
My hobbies are walking outdoors, like in the park or by the beach. A Sunday for me is to attend church, go to lunch with my family, go for a walk or spend time with my family and in the evening have dinner and watch a program on TV.
